Global Positioning System As the sail boat approaches Marblehead Rock, a dense fog rapidly rolls in and cloaks the world. Bert is thrilled to demonstrate his Global Positioning System (GPS). This device uses satellites to indicate the position of the boat and the proper course for getting home. Using GPS and a compass, Bert, John and Marie find their way back to the harbor without a problem.
